Nice little route for novice riders, \
who need to practice cornering. Also good if you have very
little time (such as an afternoon after work) and really want
to go for a short ride. The first bit has some nice corners.
Up Lommedalen is much more sedate.
This a beautiful roundtrip where you can enjoy both rural and mountainous environment. Drivingtime - approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes + stop. A lot of nice corners and also enough straight sections. It's really spectacular mountainviews when you reach Haglebu, but be aware of sheeps, they like ...
Great curvy road passing through some very nice, tiny places by the Drammensfjord/Oslofjord (Holmsbu, Sæthre etc). Could be quite packed by cars in the weekends making all the nice curves less fun. On a great sunny summer day without too much traffic it is a superb choice for a ride near Oslo.
Drøbak - Son Oslo /Akershus/Buskerud/O..., Norwegen Februar 16, 2008 - 4.0
Fun, fun, fun (for those who like corners).
The route takes you through farm-country, with little traffic.
Lots of corner-combinations, some real hairpins.
Note that in the beginning of the season the road-surface may be damaged
from winter frost.
E4 : Oslo - Mjøsa Oslo /Akershus/Buskerud/O..., Norwegen Februar 17, 2008 - 2.0
This route is mostly for those who travel South to North
(or vice versa) and want to avoid E6 (which is fast, but
really really boring motorway).
The E4 is much more pleasant, but has a couple of
drawbacks:
- It is HEAVILY policed, so do not speed unless you are
willing to pay up, ...
This route is made for mc enthusiasts. Twists and turns and much joy. When the sun is shining you will have an awesome day. Watch out for wet leafs in the early fall.
A really fun and twisty route. It passes along lots of small lakes and waters, and through very nice countryside. A seeming endless number of fun corners. But beware - the road is narrow and there are a few blind corners.
This is a perfect daytrip, but with over 400 kilometres you need to leave not too late in the day. Approximately 6,5 hours with just pure and fun driving + stop. A lot of places to stop to enjoy the absolutely amazing scenery, and good places to eat as well. This roundtrip will not disapoint you! En...
Nice route following the twisty backroads all the way from the Larvik ferry terminal to Bergen. Several sights along the way. Rjukan, Dalen, Suleskard,Lysebotn, Kjerag, Preikestolen etc.
Start by turning left after the bridge in Bykle, you will get some nice corners on asphalt, a small and nice beach on the right for a refreshing cooldown and BBQing. After this you will hit Skarg water energy facility that was opened in 2015. After a quick look you start on the gravel road to ...
Its about a 1,5 hour trip (75km), riding mostly on RV2 and RV175. A lot of fun! Almost no traffik, lots of corners and no cops nor speed cameras. Very smooth ride.
Amazing trip if you wanna practice some corners and have some really stunning scenery! The roads arent always Laguna Seca and there are numerous irregularities, but it really is a great ride. Especially on the peninsulla, driving towards Nesoddtangen on the RV156 and further towards Fagerstrand ...
5 hours of pure fun, great scenery, lots of corners and little traffic. Almost no speedcameras, Ive seen the cops only once. The roads are mostly very good.
Oslo - Stavanger Oslo /Akershus/Buskerud/O..., Norwegen Marz 10, 2016 - 4.0
substantial route..miles upon miles of road to play on...too varied to list up on here... the final 2hrs or so into Stavanger is outstanding...big wide fast sweepers..great viz..2 and 3 corners ahead are pretty much always in sight allowing you to unleash plenty of power.... its been 7 years now sin...
Very good route with nice corners and a beautiful scenery, very popular amongst riders and you will meet a lot of them on the way. To go back home either follow the route and do high speed back or turn around at Tusenfryd and take the way you came back.
Fun route with lots of corners and a few good straights to get your speed up.
But beware of the cops, because this is a route many bikers like to open up
the throttle on.
Route to take you away from E18 and up to the Hurdals lake.
It passes through a few small towns, but is mostly rural and open.
Along the lake the roads straightens out,
and if you dont ride too fast the scenery is truly great.
A route taken by many, many bikers.
Stop by the Tyrigrava kro (specially on Wednesday afternoon / evening,
when sometimes hundreds of bikers stop by)
www.tyrigrava.no
The route itself is pretty average, with some nice corner...
A very used route for bikes. Lots of fun corners to keep you occupied.
Doing the round the Nesodden-peninsula is a great way to spend a couple of
hours after work. Remember to do the Old Moss-road on the way back and
stop at Tyrigrava kro, where bikers hang out every Wednesday.<...

Through the forest, along lakes and creeks, past farms.
Not a lot of traffic, but the few cages you meet drive like maniacs.
Most of all this is a great route for scraping your pegs.
A favourite route, when I have the time.
It starts out along the scenic Hurdal lake,
and goes up a great valley, with lots and lots of corners.
If you do it the other way (down) be gentle with your brakes,
so that they dont overheat.
The route starts very nice with the corners of the Lierbakkene.
Then you go South along the Drammen fjord, for superp scenery and very good corners. The inland-section does have some moose wandering about - dont hit them as they will do lots of damage!
A very little travelled route. It is practically not used,
as even the locals rarely travel between the two towns,
but rather towards Drammen or Oslo (and other routes are shorter).
In former days this was part of the Round the Tyri Fjord rally.
Today it is mostly good for a s...
The first part of this route goes up the Hanekleiv
hills from Sande.
It has lots of fun corners and was recently (2007) repaved,
so it is in good condition. From then you head
North towards Eikern lake.
At Eidsfoss Verk there is a very nice small shop
and a good café / re...
Just by Bolkesjø, turn North.
This route takes you through beautiful scenery,
but unfortunately on poor road-surface.
Lots of good places to stop to enjoy the views,
but not many amenities.
Can either be combined with a trip North over the mountain
(towards Geilo, and possibly then W...
Fun route across the hills. At the Notodden end you have to
cross an airfield.
Dont know about you, but I was surely tempted to try out my bikes
drag racing abilities :-) The road takes you along some lakes and ponds,
and through forests.
Totally awesome road, with all that it takes to enjoy every bit of it.
Eastern part of it is mostly open, rural landscape.
Western part of it is along the Seljord lake
(where reputedly there is a Loch Ness-style monster
The road has many many fun and well-rounded corners to ke...
Take the inner route to go from south to east in Norway!
Compared to the coastal E-18 which have an overload of traffic

this route offers you a variety of mostly narrow, curvy roads
with many really nice bends, mixed with some lon...
Very nice route, with lots of great scenery
(mountain lakes, valley gorges, waterfalls, etc).
You can stop in Dalen and stay at the historical hotel,
built in a Dragon/Fairytale-style www.dalenhotel.no.
This is the perfect route for those who travel South / North (or vice versa)
and wish to avoid Oslo.
The route is much more pleasant and interesting than the E6 which the vast majority use.
The difference in time-comsuption is almost non-existant (unless you use the E6 straights to speed).
An average road, which is notable for the being the first Bike-safe road in Norway. It has been accomodated in accordance with the Vision Zero, that is the goal of having zero fatalities or serious accidents.
They have cleared the visibility in corners (removing trees, etc) and introduced biker-...
Beautiful route off the beaten track. There are some good accomodation along the way. Great place to hang out if you want peace and quiet while you stop over.
KONGSBERG take rv40 northover for 5km. then turn left onto rv37 follow this for 40km. turn south onto rv361. Rv38 Vrådal - Åmot Oslo /Akershus/Buskerud/O..., Norwegen September 7, 2012 - 5.0
Stunning route through Dalen, with its spectacular haunted, wooden hotel. Some sections of the road are hairpin turns, others along great looking lakes. Lots of really fun twisties.
Nice little route for novice riders, who need to practice
cornering.
Also good if you have very little time (such as an
afternoon after work)
and really want to go for a short ride.
Towards the top of Sørkedalen there is a nice little café.
Veldig fin kveldstur ikke så veldig lang. Mange kjempe fine svinger langs fjorden. Mellom sundvollen og drammen som kalles skaret er det mange kjempe fine svinger.
Valebøveien Oslo /Akershus/Buskerud/O..., Norwegen Juli 10, 2009 - 4.0
An orgy of blind corners. Thats what await you if you do this route. Lots of fun corners, but very poor visibility. A few 20km/h turns/underpasses under the railway. Fun, fun, fun for those that like that sort of thing.
